Your Opportunity
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Compliance Trainer to join our People team at Nova. In this role, you will deliver high-quality training and assessment programs that ensure our workforce is competent, compliant, and confident in performing their roles safely and effectively.
Key accountabilities include:
Delivering compliance training aligned with regulatory and safety standards including weekly Site Inductions
Coaching and supporting employees on compliance topics
Coordinating completion of training for Statutory Positions
Developing engaging training materials and assessments
Leading compliance training strategies across the site
Collaborating with site leaders and external stakeholders to maintain industry alignment
Leveraging LMS and digital tools to track and enhance training delivery
Your Experience
You are a confident facilitator with a strong background in mining or processing and a passion for developing others. You bring:
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or newer)
Valid C Class Driver’s Licence
Proficiency with Training Management Systems and Microsoft 365
Demonstrated ability to create training content and support staff development
Strong time management and reporting skills
Valid ‘C’ class manual drivers’ licence; and
National Police Clearance obtained within the last two months.
Highly desirable:
National competencies in areas such as confined space, gas testing, working at heights, First Aid/CPR, and High Risk Work Licences
